EMS sets up mobile NHS sites businesss

EVENT Marketing Solutions, an Ellesmere Port-based business which organises roadshow campaigns for corporate clients, is launching a standalone healthcare company subcontracting vehicles to the NHS.

The company, which has provided trailers for NHS marketing campaigns for years, has set up EMS Healthcare LLP offering medical trailers for use as mobile GP surgeries, treatment clinics and even temporary wards.

The firm said it would continue to offer healthcare campaigns through Event Marketing Solutions and said the new business would focus purely on providing accommodation. It said this was a growing market as both public and private healthcare bodies sought new ways of delivering services.

Keith Austin, managing director of EMS and a partner in EMS Healthcare LLP, said:

“After two years in the healthcare market, we believe there is great potential to build on our unique temporary accommodation offer through a standalone business.

He also said that the business would later look towards raising funds for growth.

“We have big ambitions for EMS-Healthcare – to meet those will require some external investment at a future date.”
