Wareing to be Hill Dicks’ senior partner

DAVID Wareing has been named as law firm Hill Dickinson’s new senior partner.
The head of the Liverpool-based firm’s Manchester office will succeed current senior partner Tony Wilson on April 30.
Mr Wareing, a former managing partner of the firm, has headed up the Manchester office for five years and is currently head of the company commercial practice group.
He joined Hill Dickinson in 1976 and played a key role in the firm’s acquisition last year of Halliwells’ Liverpool and Sheffield offices.
He said: “We have been through a sustained period of growth, both on a national and international level and are continuing to build our profile as a leading commercial law firm.
“The level of expertise we have on offer here, across all offices, is greater than ever and I look forward to both promoting this expertise and helping to build upon it further.”
Managing partner Peter Jackson: “I look forward to working alongside David as we continue to develop and enhance the firm.
“He will be an excellent ambassador for Hill Dickinson, having such an in-depth knowledge of our scope and capabilities, and a real drive to promote and support the achievement of our expert teams.”
