MANCHESTER-based The Translation People, has made a strong start to the year, with a 75% turnover increase in the first quarter and the launch of a new office in Germany.

MANCHESTER-based The Translation People, has made a strong start to the year, with a 75% turnover increase in the first quarter and the launch of a new office in Germany.

The launch of the office in Bonn followed a 44% increase in export sales lasy year, and the opening of an office in Paris.

Managing director Steve Wilde said: “It’s been a strong start to the year both domestically and overseas, with our projected annual turnover now in excess of
£3m

“Following our successful launch in Paris the new German office will further increase our presence in Europe. We’re targeting the American market too – and have recently won two major US contracts.”

The Cheadlle Hulme-based firm also recently extended its range of translation services to include telephone interpreting.As well as its overseas locations it has officies near Heathrow and in Birmingham and Glasgow.

Mr Wilde added: “Our success is built on the quality of the service we provide. We now have clients in 32 countries across the globe – all need a specialist service they can rely on.”
