Robinsons hunts pub landlords

STOCKPORT brewer Frederic Robinson has appointed Christie & Co to embark on a tenant search for some of its leading pubs.

Christie + Co will begin its work for the brewer by finding tenants for four pubs – the Queens Arms and Red Lion pubs in Cheadle, the Horshoe Inn at Frodsham and the Red Lion at Knutsford.

Linda Boyle of Christie + Co’s Manchester Office said: “We are delighted to be working with Robinson’s to find tenants for some of the best pubs and inns on their estate – delightful country inns and high volume locals alike – all of which are maintained and invested in by Robinson’s to a very high standard.

“Frederic Robinson’s is a true family brewer, established in 1838 and now in the hands of the sixth generation.

“They pride themselves on their family values – reflected in their tenanted estate of over 400 pubs and, hence, the four fantastic opportunities they are presenting here. All are in popular, prominent locations – and all present new tenants with the means to increase trade.”
