Altium toasts hat-trick of wins

INVESTMENT bank Altium is celebrating a hat-trick of client wins.
Altium, which is based in Manchester and London has been appointed Nominated Adviser and broker to tow AIM-listed firms, accountancy group Tenon and market reseaerch and consulting company Cello and Main Market listed AG Barr, the maker if Irn Bru.
Manchester-based UK chief executive at Altium, Phil Adams, said: “These wins maintain the fantastic momentum we have developed in 2009, with other wins previously announced including NCC Group, Luminar, Alkane and eServ Global.
“The average market cap of our new client wins this year is around £100m, bringing the average market cap of our client base up to circa £75m.
“This demonstrates our ability to serve larger companies, whilst still following our strategy of advising selected growth companies with a smaller market capitalisation where there is a strong investment angle.
“We have a very strong cash position and as a focused, private company believe that we are very well placed to continue to build our client base.”
