Appointments: Yorkshire bank gets new financial solutions chair; Punk PR expands

YORKSHIRE Bank has appointed a new regional chairman for its Liverpool Financial Solutions Centre.
William Hogg will replace Roy Morris who has held the post since the bank’s Liverpool Financial Solutions Centre was established in 2004.
The 46-year-old chartered accountant was previously managing director of Wirral-based shower company Kohler Daryl.
Prior to that he worked in the Scotch whisky industry in a joint venture between Macallan Glenlivet Plc and Lang Brothers in Glasgow, before moving to the North West in 1997.
Ian Spink, managing partner at Yorkshire Bank’s Liverpool Financial Solutions Centre, said: “To have secured William as our next chairman is quite a coup for Yorkshire Bank. His background in, and understanding of, the SME market will add an extra dimension to our team and help in our quest to further develop our links with the local SME market.
“I would also like to thank Roy Morris for his efforts over the last five years and his valued contribution in helping to boost our profile across the region.”
