N Brown could buy High & Mighty
MANCHESTER-based home shopping giant N Brown is to take-over specialist fashion retail High & Mighty, according to reports.
The family-owned chain filed its intention to appoint administrators earlier in the week and it is likely to be sold to N Brown as part of a pre-pack.
High & Mighty, which now has 23 stores across the country, was started as a mail order business in 1956 and has a shop on St Mary’s Gate in Manchester city centre.
N Brown already runs plus-size mens’ catalogue Jacamo, which it launched in 2007.
