Bootle firms loses independence

A BOOTLE-based company which specialised in installing access equipment for elderly and disabled patients has been placed into administration.

Go Independent appointed Tracey Pye and Michael Jennings from accountancy firm BDO’s restructuring arm on April 21. The administrators have since ceased trading the business and all eight members of staff have been made redundant.

Jennings said: “Unfortunately, the economic climate and difficult trading conditions significantly affected the business. The joint administrators completed a number of contracts to enhance debtor realisations and, going forward, will seek to maximise recoveries for the benefit of creditors.”
