Family hotel tucks into investment

A FAMILY-owned hotel on the Lancashire coast has invested more than £150,000 in upgrading its dining facilities.
The St Ives Hotel in St Annes on Sea has completed a £160,000 transformation of its restaurant, including a new floor, heating, air-conditioning and furniture.
Michael Webb, owner of the St Ives Hotel, said: “We are committed to providing excellent facilities for our guests and have invested significant sum to upgrade our restaurant and dining facilities.
“We aim to create a modern, relaxed dining experience for guests and look forward to welcoming them to the refurbished restaurant.”
The three-star hotel has 71 en-suite bedrooms and its own indoor swimming pool.
Funding for the refurbishment was provided by RBS in Blackpool. Relationship director Kay Gill, said: “Michael and his staff have worked hard over many years to establish St Ives as one of St Annes’ most popular hotels. We are very happy to support their plans and help fund the development of this successful family business.”
