PLUS roadshow rides into Manchester
The PLUS stock exchange is to host an event in Manchester next week publicising its offer aimed at the retail investment community.
The firm will be holding an event at the Radisson Edwardian hotel on Thursday May 19 as part of a roadshow taking place in three cities over the next two months. This follows on from a successful roadshow initiative launched last year.
PLUS-SX said that company bosses whose shares are listed on its exchange will be on hand to talk about their experience on the market, which is home to a number of high-profile companies including football clubs Arsenal and Glasgow Rangers.
North West firms listed on the exchange include family-owned brewer Daniel Thwaites and Manchester-based software company ANS Group.
Vivienne Cassley, senior relationship manager at the exchange, said: “PLUS-SX seeks to cater for the retail investor along with helping to raise the profile of companies on our market. The roadshow series brings these communities together.
“The popularity of our 2010 series showed the enthusiasm that investors have for UK investment opportunities and supporting local business. SMEs will continue to make a vital contribution to our economy.”
