Manchester City Region: Dawn of a new era
A PASSION to make a difference and help make Greater Manchester a better place to live and work is driving Mike Blackburn, the inaugural chairman of the City Region’s LEP.
Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com for our City Region economic review, Mr Blackburn, the regional director for BT, says he thinks Manchester is well-placed to continue to thrive, albeit in an environment with limited resources.
He believes the city’s ‘can-do’ attititude is another major reason for ongoing success.
