Hat-trick of senior appointments at Easi-Drive

EASI-DRIVE, the North West accident management company has boosted its board with two new full-time executives and brought Alwin Thompson, the former InterLink Foods boss, in as a non-executive director.

The new appointments at the Wythenshawe company double the size of the board.
Easi-Drive, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, specialises in non-fault accident repairs and has a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles.

Turnover this year is expected to be up 20% on last year’s £22m.

Its new hires are commercial director Steve Turner and Natalie Blain, finance director.
Mr Turner, 36, from Widnes, was previously commercial director at Easi-Drive’s  competitor MSL.

He said: “Now I’m part of the team I want to ensure that the next 10 years are as successful, if not more so, than the last.”

Natalie Blain, 38, from Stockport, also joins Easi-Drive from Financial & Legal Group, parent company of MSL.

Alwin Thompson’s move on to the board comes after three-year association with Easi-Drive as a business consultant.

Managing director of Simon Bellamy said: “We have expanded our board with some of the industry’s best people, who will bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and entrepreneurial spirit into the business.

“This gives us a solid platform from which we can enhance our current position and concentrate on strategic planning for the future.”
