Skiplift invests £1m

SKIP hire company SkipLIft is investing £1m in expanding its fleet.

SkipLift, based in Bredbury, Stockport is buiying six new additional Mercedes-Benz  Axor trucks to boost its fleet which currently handles more than 500 skips across the region.

Part of the Asset & Land Group, Skiplift was only launched last summer but has seen demand take off.

Managing Director Barry Kilroe, who also founded Asset & Land Group said; “We have decided to invest further in SkipLift because the business has exceeded our expectations. 
 
“We will take possession of the new vehicles before summer and provide customers with a better service and turn-around times.”

Asset & Land also comprises of K-Lift a crane hire business, recycling specialist A&L Environmental and Junction 25 Recycling Centre.
