Salford MBA gets AMBA accreditation

THE University of Salford’s Master of Business Administration has been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), just three years after the launch of Salford Business School.
Salford’s MBA is an intensive 12-month course for people with at least three years experience of management.
Professor John Wilson, head of Salford Business School, said: “It reflects the quality of the teaching, resources and students. AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education and is earned only by the best MBA programmes throughout the world.
“Most importantly though, the quality that the accreditation endorses and the networking opportunities provided by AMBA will greatly enhance the career prospects of our graduates.
“With students from all over the world at the school, having an internationally recognised qualification will help them wherever they decide to work.”
As well as Salford, AMBA accredits MBAs offered by 161 business schools in 72 countries and has over 9,000 members in 88 countries.
