Advisers work on Cayman Islands float
MANCHESTER law firm Pannone and Altrincham solicitors Myers Lister Price have advised on a deal that has led to a stock market listing in the Cayman Islands.
Marlwood has bought the clearance goods and branded merchandise businesses from BAI International and Hannah Martin Holdings. The deal was paid for with shares in Marlwood worth £6.3m.
Pannone advised the sellers while Myers Lister Price worked with Marlwood. Cenkos Channel Islands Limited acted as broker.
Marlwood’s managing director Pam Hulme said: “The board is delighted to complete what proved to be a challenging transaction concluded by excellent professionals. The group is now well placed to take advantage of opportunities within its markets.”
