Orthodontic practice braced for growth

TURRET Orthodontics is bracing itself for expansion after clinching a lucrative NHS contract from Trafford Primary Care Trust.

The Sale-based practice, which recently completed a £400,000 renovation programme, was awarded the long-term contract ahead of several other tenders.

The win will grow the practice’s patient base by 100 people a year. It will also help to reduce the practice’s waiting list, which currently stands at 12 months.

Dr Khurana, who is a consultant orthodontist at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and a lecturer at the University of Liverpool’s School of Dental Sciences, said:  “The agreement will enable us to treat a larger number of patients in a shorter period of time.

“Over the last 12 months, Turret has been transformed into a six surgery practice that boasts state-of-the-art facilities and technology. This, combined with the new NHS contract, will allow more people in the region to access a wider range of NHS orthodontic services.”

Established in 2000, Turret Orthodontics provides NHS and private orthodontic treatments to both children and adults.
