Forrest secures £7m maintenance contract

PRESTON building services firm Forrest has secured a £7m contract for its Yorkshire operation.

The agreement will see the company take responsibility for the maintenance of 11,000 homes across Leeds run by the Unity Housing Association.

The initial five-year deal includes an option that would see the agreement extended for a further one or two years.

Lee McCarren, chief executive at Forrest, said: “Unity’s commitment to building strong and sustainable communities mirrors our own core values based on creating and supporting green neighbourhoods.

“Yorkshire is a key region for our organisation and Unity one of its leading housing associations making this agreement a major milestone for our Leeds office.”

Forrest operates from seven offices across the North.
