New divisional head for Gleeson

REGENERATION specialist Gleeson has appointed an experienced figure as the managing director of its Gleeson Regeneration & Homes division.

Former Shepherd Homes MD Jolyon Harrison has become managing director of the division which is based in Bury and Yorkshire.

The 61-year-old has been involved in the housebuilding industry in the North for more than 40 years and succeeds Colin Rossiter, who continues in his other role as managing director of Gleeson Capital Solutions.

Mr Harrison takes up his new post on November 2. He bought 1m shares in stock market quoted Gleeson in June representing a 1.9% stake.

He said: “I am greatly looking forward to the challenge of making a significant contribution to Gleeson which, with more than 100 years of service to the community, will once again become a serious player in the affordable homes-for-sale marketplace.”
