Bramall wins Welsh contract
BRAMALL Construction has won a £1.4m contract to help revamp homes across Denbighshire.

BRAMALL Construction has won a £1.4m contract to help revamp homes across Denbighshire.

The Salford-based company has secured the win with Denbighshire County Council and is part of a programme to bring 3,470 council houses up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

The construction firm will focus on carrying out improvements to kitchens and bathroom in 227 properties in the Denbigh Close and Maes Emlyn areas of Rhyl, Denbighshire.

Steve Parrington, construction director at Bramall Construction, said: “This is an exciting breakthrough for us. It means Bramall has moved into the Welsh social housing refurbishment market in a big way. We’ve done some work in Wales before but nothing on this scale.

Bramall’s work in Wales got underway this month and the first phase is expected to be completed in May next year.
