CHESHIRE IT networks company NWIX has helped the AutoTrader publisher meet demand on its systems for increased use of video on its car sales website Autotrader.co.uk

CHESHIRE IT networks company NWIX has helped the AutoTrader publisher meet demand on its systems for increased use of video on its car sales website Autotrader.co.uk

The car sales giant has deployed a content delivery network from Macclesfield-based NWIX which will allow customers to access content faster and easier than ever before.

Carolyn Bell, head of IT operations at Trader Media Group said: “Our business has evolved from traditional publishing through the first wave of Internet users – the next generation of the Internet is all about video.

“People researching and buying cars online have high expectations – our aim is to ensure we do what’s required behind the scenes in order to make sure we deliver the best possible online experience to our customers.”

John Ridd, chief executive of NWIX added: “We’re very excited to be working with Trader Media Group to enhance the usability of Autotrader.co.uk for motorists and dealers alike who want to use video content to buy and sell cars more easily.”

CHESHIRE events management company TLB Events, has secured the
contract from the Concorde visitor centre at Manchester Airpor  to provide all the theming and entertainment for their Christmas parties in December

Wilmslow-based TLB  will provide and event manage all the props/total room theming and the live entertainment in this purpose-built complex that surrounds the iconic aircraft.
