Evans happy with AMS’s progress

MEDICAL products firm Advanced Medical Solution will tell shareholders at its annual general meeting today that the firm’s strong start to the year was continuing.

Chairman Dr Don Evans said that the firm had received “very positive” feedback from the US over its Liquiband product – a liquid used to quickly and safely close wounds.

“The board is confident that AMS is well-placed to grow its US market share and build a strong, global brand for Liquiband,” he said.

Elsewhere, he said that the Activheal range of wound treatment products is continuing to maintain progress following a recent rebrand, while its foam business “continues to grow well”.

“Whilst global economic conditions continue to be challenging, the Board is pleased to confirm that trading is in line with current market expectations and we remain confident about the long-term prospects for the group.”
