In Brief: Gong for Co-op Travel; New client for Zeus
THE Co-operative Group’s travel division has been voted ‘Large Travel Retailer of the Year’ at The British Travel Awards.
The awards are described by the BTA as the number one in the travel industry as they are voted for by the travelling consumer as well as travel industry professionals.
Trevor Davis, director of retail distribution at Manchester-based Co-operative Travel, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and one that is an accurate reflection on the dedication and professionalism of all our retail staff throughout the country.
“It is all the more gratifying as it is voted for by the holidaymaker and our peers; I am extremely proud of this achievement.”

CHESHIRE based Zeus PR has won the ief to launch the newly formed APOD – The Association of Publishers of Online Legal Documents (www.apod.org.uk).
APOD has been created to raise awareness of the supply of online legal documents, as an affordable and reliable alternative to costly high street professional legal services.
Anthea Fosti, Zeus PR’s MD comments: “There is still a general lack of understanding in regards to the savings that can be made by buying legal documents online.”
