Liverpool City Region: Focus on the future says expert panel

THE Liverpool City Region must move forward by embracing the future rather than dwelling on its former glories.

That was the message from a panel of business leaders at a discussion held by TheBusinessDesk.com in association with law firm DWF and Santander Corporate Banking.

“I think people in the city have a tendency to look backwards, rather than forwards,” said Geoff Worrall, a relationship director at Santander Corporate Banking in Liverpool.

“That’s good if you want to experience football history or the music scene but that’s the past and we need to embrace a forward-thinking strategy.”
