Stockport Care Homes group in administration
A CARE homes operator in Stockport which employs around 150 staff has been placed into administration.
Grosvenor Care (Cheshire) Ltd operated four care homes in the Stockport area – Grosvenor Hall and Grosvenor Mews in Heaton Norris, Clumber House in Poynton and Peel Moat Care Home in Heaton Moor.
Kerry Bailey, Matthew Gibson and James Money from the Manchester office of accountancy firm PKF have been appointed as joint administrators of the business and have hired specialist health care management company Krissimon Care to run the homes, ensuring that residents continue to receive appropriate standards of care.
A statement issued by the administrators said that all residents, staff and relatives have been sent notification and will be kept informed of the ongoing situation.
The joint administrators have also said they are optimistic that a buyer can be found for the homes.
