Cowgills’ ties up Liverpool merger
NORTH West accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway has extended its regional footprint with a merger with small Livrpool firm Jackson UK.

NORTH West accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway has extended its regional footprint with a merger with small Livrpool firm Jackson UK.

Until January this year Jackson, which has just six staff, was known as Hurst (Liverpool) under licence from Stockport firm Hursts.

Claire Jackson, managing partner of Jackson UK, set up the practice in 1998. The firm will take the Cowgill Holloway name.

The merger boost Bolton and Manchester-based Cowgill’s partner and staffing levels to 17 partners and 142 staff.

Paul Stansfield, managing partner at Cowgill Holloway, said: “Cowgill Holloway is delighted to merge with Jackson UK, who have over their 10 years built an excellent reputation in and around the Liverpool area.
