Wrather sells Zenith building

HENDERSON Global investors has bought the 66,000 sq ft Zenith building at Spring Gardens in Manchester from Wrather Group.

The firm is reported to have paid £25m for the building, but a spokesman told TheBusinessDesk.com that an accurate figure could not be given as the transaction is still in the process of completion.

He said that although the building is currently partially let, the firm would be “stepping up a campaign” from July 21 to let the remainder of the space in the building. Joint letting agents for the space are CBRE and Knight Frank.

The spokesman said that Zenith is “one of the prime office locations in one of the strongest financial districts outside London”.

The building was bought on behalf of Henderson’s UK Property Unit Trust.
