Events firms join forces

TWO rival event management firms in Liverpool and Cheshire have merged.

Liverpool-based OWL has joined forces with Your Events, based in Bowdon, in a move that the pair say will boost combined turnover by £400,000 during the next financial year.

Both firms will retain their own brand names and identity and form part of a new parent company, called Total Event Group.   

OWL specialises in the organisation of corporate events such as conferences, sales incentives, gala dinners and team building days, while Your Events specialises in gala dinners for up to 500 people and bespoke product launches.  Their combined client list includes Kellogg’s, Adidas, Manchester United Football Club and Astra Zeneca.

Antony Greenberg, managing director of OWL Event Management, said: “Your Events is a successful business that has been built up over many years and we are very pleased to have reached an agreement to join together. 

“The arrangement will bring many benefits such as cross sales, economies of scale and increased purchasing power when negotiating with suppliers.”   

NatWest’s business and commercial team in Liverpool has provided OWL with a five figure working capital package via the Government-backed Enterprise Finance Guarantee Scheme to support the growth of the newly formed group.
