Bglobal in JD deal
LANCASHIRE smart metering company Bglobal has clinched a contract with North West retailer JD Sports Fashion.
Bury-based JD has been trailling the cost and ennergy-saving meters for some time and now plans to roll-out the technology into 360 shops.
Paul Blake, energy manager at JD Sports: “The success of phase one has led us to increase our business with Bglobal and we are now beginning to plan the second phase of installations across the remaining stores in our estate.
“Our two companies have worked very well together and we look forward to successfully completing the second phase of installations.”
Anthony Barnes, chief executive of Bglobal commented: “Direct customer contracts remain an important part of our business and we are delighted to be helping JD Sports in their efforts to measure and reduce energy consumption.”
