Law firm Eos nets funding for growth

EOS Law, the new boutique business law firm launched last year by Simon Woolley, has secured a six-figure funding package to support its growth.
Eos, launched by ex-DLA Piper Manchester office head Woolley, already has five partners and 18 staff.
The firm has moved into 3,000 sq ft of office space at 82 King Street, and will announce a second tranche of appointments in the next few months.
Hires in corporate, Intellectual Property and litigation are set to follow the appointments made in finance, restructuring, finance, corporate, employment and real estate which came in the first wave.
Woolley said: “This financing package from NatWest highlights the strength of the EOS Law proposition and business model against what remains a challenging economic backdrop.
“We move forward from a strong financial base and with a keen focus on delivering work of the highest quality to our growing entrepreneurial and blue chip client base.”
Nick Leeland, relationship manager at NatWest Commercial Banking in Manchester, said: “EOS Law is an exciting and innovative new entrant into the North West’s and the wider legal sector, and we look forward to supporting Simon Woolley and his team as they continue to develop and grow the firm over the coming years.”
