HSBC appoints new commercial director for Manchester

HSBC Commercial Banking has appointed Chris Wormall as area commercial director for Manchester.

Mr Wormall will head a team of over 70 people, at the HSBC Commercial Centre in Spinningfields, covering Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

He has worked at HSBC for more than 30 years, specialising in commercial and corporate banking for the last 10 years.

Mr Wormall said: “The area has many businesses with strong potential so I’m looking forward to speaking to them about their business plans and how HSBC can help them weather the challenges of the recession and be prepared to grow as the recovery takes hold.”
