Brown Shipley completed ‘integration’ of staff and £540m AUM in city

Brown Shipley, a specialist in wealth planning, investment management and lending, has announced the formal integration of seven new advisers, 12 support staff and £540m of assets under management (AUM) into its Manchester office.
This follows the acquisition of The Roberts Partnership, a financial planning and wealth management company, in October, 2016.
From this month, The Roberts Partnership will cease to operate as a legal entity with all advisers formally joining Brown Shipley’s Manchester office in Spinningfields, Hardman Street.
The acquisition is part of Brown Shipley’s strategy to further enhance its proposition and services to clients, particularly in wealth planning. The new additions will also further enhance Brown Shipley’s strong regional presence in the North West.
Ian Sackfield, chief executive at Brown Shipley, said: “I am delighted to announce the formal integration of The Roberts Partnership.
“The addition of such a high calibre group of financial planners means we are able to serve a greater number of clients and to draw upon even more expertise. Alongside our other five offices, the move also further cements our position as one of the leading full service wealth managers in the North West.”
Tony Antczak, wealth management director said: “We are excited to be formally joining Brown Shipley, as it’s a business with clear ambitions and a vision for the future.
“The opportunity to be part of a bigger network and to be able to draw upon expertise from across wealth planning, investment management and lending, means we will be able to support our clients with all their wealth management needs even better.”
