48,000 sq ft HQ building sold

Well-known city centre property, Westfield House, in Sheffield has been sold to Manchester development company MCR Property.

Westfield House on Division Street had been the headquarters of Westfield Health since 1973, but the company relocated to Milton House on Charter Row in August 2016.

Although the deal is undisclosed, the 48,650 sq ft building was on the market for £4.25m.

The eight-storey Westfield House features a Customer Hub, a roof terrace with 360 degree views overlooking the city, and business incubator spaces to support the growth of health and wellbeing start-ups.

Graham Moore, Westfield Health chairman, said: “We’re pleased to confirm that, after a thorough process conducted by our Property Steering Group, a sale has been finalised to the MCR Property Group.

“We’re now fully settled into our new home on Charter Row and this move has been an important milestone as we continue to grow and branch out into emerging markets in health, wellbeing and care.”

Commercial property agents at Knight Frank finalised the sale of Westfield House, Rockingham Court and the attached units at 89-93 Division Street.
