Research agency celebrates eleventh year of double digit growth

Full service consultancy DJS Research has reported an 11% increase in annual turnover to £4.7m for 2016/17 and has set a target of £5.2m for next year.

DJS has achieved double-digit growth for the past eleven years, including a 17% rise in annual turnover from £3.6m to £4.2m for 2015/16

The business, based in Stockport, was launched by managing director Danny Sims in 2001.

He said: “It’s fantastic to announce yet another great year for the company. As always, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our brilliant, loyal staff as we have such strength and depth now. Also, we must not forget our suppliers, our new and repeat clients and the thousands of respondents who take part in our research. Without you all, none of this would be possible.

“With our achievements to date and with our plans for further growth, it’s going to be an interesting few years ahead. We are pretty full now here in Stockport with 5,000 sq ft filled within five years. So, solving the space issue will be our next obstacle –  a nice issue to have.”

The agency delivers market research to national and international organisations, across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Clients include the European Commission, Department for Work and Pensions, Competition & Markets Authority, NHS Confederation, Leicester City Football Club, Next, Help for Heroes and Co-op.

Permanent staff members have increased from 49 to 58 over the past year, with further staff to be announced soon.
