Cream rises to the top as growing dessert parlour starts hunt for 50 new sites

Creams Café, the American-style dessert parlour business, is on the hunt for 50 new sites as part of a major expansion strategy.

Specialising in Italian gelato and continental desserts, the business is currently trading from more than 60 outlets, has secured a further 51 sites, and is now actively searching for another 50 prime retail leisure sites of over 1,800 sq ft by the end of 2017.

Commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been instructed to identify suitable locations in the Midlands, North of England, North Wales and Scotland.

Richard Lyons, the Manchester-based LSH director who is heading up the search, said: “Creams Café is a burgeoning brand with ambitious growth plans. These are intrinsically linked to having a network of properties which attract a high footfall, specifically among families and students.

“We have identified and are now actively looking at a range of opportunities at retail/leisure sites with the right demographic and footfall that Creams Café needs to succeed and which will facilitate the growth of the company.”
