5 things to do in the North West

Funny Girl
National treasure Sheridan Smith, along with the cast of Funny Girl, arrives in Manchester this weekend at the Palace Theatre. Funny Girl follows the story of Franny Brice, whose vocal talents and comedic ability see her rise from Brooklyn musical hall singer to Broadway star. St George’s Hall in Liverpool is set to come alive with creativity this weekend thanks to an artisans festival. Taking place at Salesbury Hall in Ribchester this weekend, The Royal Lancashire Show is set to celebrate the great British countryside with a whole host of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The North West’s largest celebration of Caribbean music and arts is taking place at Alexandra Park in Manchester this weekend. Liverpool Viva! Vegan Festival
Liverpool’s Vegan Festival is taking place at The Bluecoat on Saturday. Being held from 10am to 5pm, the festival will feature almost 70 stalls, live talks and even a wide range of cooking demonstrations.
