Hayward promoted at NCC

Margo Hayward

Manchester-based cyber-security firm NCC has continued its top level reshuffle with the appointment of global sales director of its escrow division, Margo Hayward.

Hayward has been with the company since 2014 when she joined the firm as a cyber security and risk mitigation expert, leading the escrow division’s strategic accounts team.

In the three years since her appointment sales grew 30% and she has been appointed to the newly-created position to drive global revenue growth, listed NCC said.

She said: “NCC Group was always top of my list as a forward-thinking technology provider.

“The support of the company and leadership team has given me the chance to be part of creating and executing the strategy of the division. I’m excited by the opportunity that my new role presents and the potential for further growth.”

Daniel Liptrott, managing director of NCC Group’s escrow division said: “The appointment of Margo to this new position is essential in bringing together each region within our division, allowing us to share best-practice globally. Margo’s experience in technology sales, as well as her drive, enthusiasm and inclusive approach will stand her in good stead in this role.”

Hayward’s appointment follows the shock departure of longstanding chief executive Rob Cotton in April and the installation of Chris Stone as executive chairman.

The group then reported a full year pre-tax loss of £55.3m on a group turnover of £244.5m, as Stone insisted that the business was “not broken”.
