Jet2.com out to recruit 400 staff at Manchester Airport

Cut-price airline Jet2.com has announced a major recruitment drive to fill about 1,700 pilot, cabin crew and ground operations roles with more than 400 at Manchester Airport.

To support the drive, the company is hosting a recruitment roadshow in Radison Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport on Thursday, August 31.

The announcement comes on the back of a recruitment campaign for the summer, which includes flights from new bases Birmingham and London Stansted.

The expansion is set to continue in Summer 18, with the company having 9.8 million seats on sale (a 13% capacity increase) opening up opportunities for staff. This biggest ever summer programme includes almost 2.2 million seats to 42 destinations from Manchester Airport.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “It has been an exciting year for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, and we are delighted to be creating so many opportunities to join our award-winning team at Manchester Airport. If you care passionately about looking after customers, we would love to see you at one of our upcoming roadshows and we look forward to welcoming you on board.”
