Restaurant serves up 40 jobs with Manchester launch

A Manchester restaurant will serve up 40 new jobs when it opens its doors at the Corn Exchange in the autumn.

Alston Bar & Beef is on the hunt for staff including chefs and front of house employees.

The 160-cover venue is the first England-based venue for its Scottish counterpart Alston Bar and Beef in Glasgow, and will specialise in steak and fine gin.

General manager Riki Bennet said: “We are looking for a team to bring our award-winning concept to life here in Manchester.

“Our mission is to raise the bar for meat and gin lovers and it’s essential we have a team of staff who are passionate about becoming experts in their field and delivering the best dining and drinking experience.

“It will be a great place to work and develop your career in the industry, with the support of the wider Glendola Leisure brand which has a strong reputation for staff development, training and progression.

“We look forward to welcoming our new recruits and working with them to write this exciting chapter of our story here in Manchester.”
