Savills takes up extra space at Belvedere

Belvedere building

International real estate advisor Savills has expanded its Manchester office with the acquisition of a further 2,400sq ft within Belvedere, 12 Booth Street.

The deal takes the firm’s total footprint in the building to 16,400sq ft.

More than 240 staff are based at Belvedere, where Savills Manchester has been located since 2011, including six new graduates welcomed in September 2017.

The firm’s building and project consultancy team has delivered the fit out of the additional space.

The deal follows significant expansion across all sectors, and, in particular, recruitment within the development services and residential development sales divisions.

James Evans, head of Savills Manchester, said: “Savills has consistently grown and evolved in Manchester since first opening our doors as a small team of three in 1996.

“Our expansion within Belvedere reflects the ongoing growth of both our head count and service offer, as well as our aspirations to continue developing Savills presence in the city.”

Savills Manchester has an established, multi-service offer including investment agency; office and industrial agency; retail and leisure agency; building and project consultancy; property management; hotels agency and valuation; valuation; residential and planning.
