Snow joke – Chill Factore wants 110 new staff

Visitor attraction Chill Factore in Manchester is recruiting 110 staff as it moves towards its peak season from mid-October through to March.

Roles on offer include maintenance technician, lead generators, sales and support advisers, call centre team leader, snow sports instructors, snow crew changing village supervisors and snow crew team members.

The attraction will also be interviewing for 17 “Santa’s Helpers” to deliver Christmas cheer this festive season.

The investment in recruitments comes after a £500,000 investment earlier this year, which saw the complete renovation of the Changing Village at Chill Factore and installation of fresh, new snow on its 180m slope.

Morwenna Angove, chief executive of Chill Factore, said: “October through to March is peak season for us at Chill Factore we know that a number of seasonal workers will be on the lookout for a part-time job, so we are very happy to be able to offer such a wide range to the community, from Santa’s helpers to a snowsports instructor.

Amongst the most popular seasonal roles is a requirement for 17 Santa’s helpers who will help to provide families with the ultimate Christmas experience at Chill Factore. Successful applicants seeking to become one of Santa’s trusty helpers will be tasked with delivering an unforgettable Christmas at the perfect winter attraction.
