Cheshire library sold for residential development

Former Frodsham Library in Cheshire has been bought by The House Crowd for £630,000.

The 8,305 sq ft property on Frodsham High Street has outline planning consent for 14 apartments.

Frazer Fearnhead, chief executive of The House Crowd, said: “We are very pleased to have acquired this wonderful building where we will be creating 14 apartments.

“The site is ideally located for new homes in this attractive Cheshire village. Qualifying purchasers will have the benefit of the Help to Buy scheme.

“We begin construction in November and plan to start marketing the apartments for sale, in Spring 2018 with completion of all apartments in October 2018.”

Regional Property Solutions acquired the site on behalf of The House Crowd. Behr & Co acted for the private vendor.
