Marketing agency swoops for digital consultancy

Peppermint Soda, the North West-based creative marketing communications agency, has acquired digital and creative consultancy Forever Creative for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition, which is the first deal completed by Peppermint Soda, will strengthen the agency’s digital, design and marketing proposition – adding to its experience across multiple sectors, including public sector, healthcare, education, food and manufacturing.

As part of the transaction, managing director, Jane Hudson, and her team will join Peppermint at its Hale headquarters.

Jean-Philippe Glaskie, managing director of Peppermint Soda, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have completed the acquisition of Forever – the first of what we anticipate will be a number of similar deals. As such, we’re keen to speak to other like-minded, complementary agencies that are looking to join an ambitious and growing consultancy.

“We’ve long admired Forever, its management team, ethos and approach to design and creative work. There are natural synergies between the two companies, so when the opportunity arose we jumped at the opportunity to bring the two together.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Jane and her team onboard and we’re confident they will provide us with invaluable experience and expertise that will strengthen our 18-strong team.”

Hudson will become client services director and join Peppermint’s senior management team as part of the deal.

She said: “We’ve worked alongside Peppermint for a number of years and, during that time, we have built up a strong relationship and gained mutual respect and trust. I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck into my new role at Peppermint, as we look to help grow the agency’s integrated marketing communications offering in new and existing sectors.”

Peppermint was advised by Charles Glaskie, corporate partner at law firm Gateley, together with Simon Kaye at accountancy firm, Lopian Gross Barnett.
