Financial planning firm marks milestone with lift in turnover

Financial planning firm LIFT-Financial is on track to achieve turnover of £7m for 2017 as it rounds of its 10th anniversary year.

The figure represents a 10-fold increase from the Altrincham-based company’s first year of trading in 2007.

LIFT-Financial has also just been awarded its second Gold Standard award in Financial Planning in a ceremony at the House of Commons.

Set up in 2007 with a team of eight, LIFT-Financial now has 80 staff across three offices – Altrincham, London and Edinburgh.

Mike Holden, co-founder and group chief eaxecutive, said: “We’ve enjoyed consistent growth since launch despite some major turbulence in the financial services industry and to round off 10 years in business with a turnover ten times that of our first year is a fantastic achievement for the whole team.

“We’re continuing to invest heavily in the business with the aim over the next 12 months of surpassing the standards that led to our recent Gold award. Our investment in staff and systems has given us a solid platform for the next 10 years and who knows, perhaps another ten-fold increase.”
