£1.3m warehouse sale is key deal for real estate firm

North West property consultancy BC Real Estate is toasting the start of the new year having completed a sale and a letting on behalf of two of its clients.
Acting on behalf of independent profiling and processing company PP Group, BC Real Estate has sold its 29,920sq ft warehouse in Gorton, Manchester to TNS Developments for £1.3m following the company’s decision to relocate last year.
BC Real Estate was instructed as sole agents to dispose of the self-contained building after it acquired PP Group’s new facility – a 110,00sq ft on Drury Lane in Oldham in an off-market deal.
This deal follows immediately on from a 20,000sq ft letting that BC Real Estate has secured at Patrick Properties’ Graphite Business Park in Glossop. JD Williams has taken the final vacant unit at the popular business park on a five year lease at £4.95 per sq ft as it looked to expand its operations in the area.
John Barton, partner at BC Real Estate, said: “Last year was a great year for the industrial sector and as a firm we enjoyed a successful second year in business.
“2018 looks set to be another exciting chapter in our company’s history and we look forward to the challenges that lie ahead. To have completed these two significant deals is great start to the year.”
