Flagship development launched in Manchester city centre

Embankment West

Property investment firm Select Property Group is adding to its portfolio of developments with a brand new, purpose-built neighbourhood in the heart of Manchester.
The Manchester-based developer – which has previously created high-end property brands Vita Student, CitySuites and Affinity Living – is now bringing to market its fourth brand, Origin Homes.

Select Property Group is launching the Origin Homes brand’s flagship development, Laurence Place, at Embankment West.

Devised entirely by Select Property group, the new neighbourhood is situated on the former site of Exchange Train Station, a location steeped in history.

And, as part of its strategy to encourage global investment in one of the UK’s most sought-after investment locations, Select Property Group has turned to digital marketing agency theEword to help increase its online presence, drive awareness and generate enquiries.

Jordan Stachini, head of marketing at Select Property Group, said: “Manchester is the UK’s fastest-growing city when it comes to property investment, so to create Origin Homes’ flagship development here was a no-brainer.

“The goal is to make Embankment West a real destination within the city, creating a neighbourhood to rival other pockets, such as Spinningfields, and add to the city’s appeal as a place to both live and work.

“Laurence Place sits in an area that’s steeped in history but one that has potentially been overlooked in the past, so we’re proud to be part of its revival.”

Laurence Place is expected to become one of the city’s most desirable addresses, lying a stone’s throw from some of the city’s most exclusive shopping hotspots and resturants.

Jordan said: “We wanted to work with a digital agency that, like us, is local and understands the fantastic investment opportunity that a development like Laurence Place offers to the city. theEword not only shares our values but has a track record of delivering results efficiently.

“We were extremely impressed by theEword’s credentials within the property sector, and we’re looking forward to forging a long-lasting relationship with the team.”

Scheduled to complete in 2020, Laurence Place will offer a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroomed apartments.

theEword will work with Select Property Group on various digital campaigns, including conversion-rate optimisation (CRO) and content creation, having built a growing roster of commercial and residential property clients.

Kleon West, director at theEword, said: “We’ve developed an impressive portfolio of property clients in recent years, offering a range of services, from CRO to content creation, and we’re particularly proud to help fly the flag for the city’s offering.

“New neighbourhoods like Embankment West are being created all the time, while once derelict areas of the city are now thriving, so to play a role in such a movement is fantastic.

“We’re incredibly proud to be working with Select Property Group, particularly as it’s creating Laurence Place under its latest brand, Origin Homes, so it’s an extremely exciting time for the company and we’re delighted to be part of it.”
