Manchester law firm Kuits has been shortlisted in the Law Firm of the Year: The Independents North and Scotland category at The Lawyer Awards.

Regarded as the most prestigious in the legal sector in the country, the awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the sector.

Kuits are one of only two firms shortlisted from the North West in the independents category.

This is the firm’s second national award nomination in the 12 months after being named a finalist in the Law Society Excellence Awards in 2017.

There was a detailed submission process for the award, which included the firm demonstrating clear and strong evidence of strategic vision and leadership, innovation in client service delivery, talent management, and workplace development.

Steve Eccleston, Managing Partner of Kuits, said: “It’s a great honour to be shortlisted for this prestigious award in an extremely strong category of high calibre law firms.

“We’re proud to be an independent law firm rooted firmly in Manchester and to be named as a finalist for a national award is testament to our unique culture, commitment to client service, and the quality of the legal and commercial advice we provide to the SME market.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 26 June at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
