Pets at Home joins Liverpool Shopping Park

Pets at Home is the latest retailer to join Liverpool Shopping Park.

The group, based in Handforth, is the UK’s leading specialist pet omnichannel retailer and services provider.

It has taken a 10,313 sq ft unit, between Wilko and Drome/Foot Asylum on a 10-year lease.

Set to open on July 20, Pets at Home is the 22nd retailer to join the line-up at Liverpool Shopping Park, the first phase of which opened in October 2017.

James Maule-Finch, senior asset manager for The Derwent Group, which owns Liverpool Shopping Park, said: “We’ve worked hard to build a strong line-up of well-known retailers and high street names at Liverpool Shopping Park and Pets at Home is a very welcome addition.

“The park is now 90% let and we’re currently in talks with a number of retailers for the final three remaining units.”

Liverpool Shopping Park, on Edge Lane, comprises an M&S Food Hall, TK Maxx, River Island, Superdrug, H&M, Outfit, Next, Smyths Toys, Clarks, The Works, Wilko, Subway, Regatta, Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito, JD, Greggs, Drome/Foot Asylum, Card Factory, Boots, TUI and B&Q.

The Derwent Group is part of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation and operates in the retail, leisure, industrial and commercial sectors.

The group’s retail portfolio extends to 1.74 million sq ft across nine retail parks in the North of England.
