Gin maker signs deal with leading North West bar firm
Independent distiller Didsbury Gin has joined forces with one of the North West’s most successful bar chains.
The drinks maker has signed a deal with The New World Trading Company which will see it roll out its gin across all The Botanist bars in the UK.
There are currently fifteen of the venues in the UK, in Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Chester, Didsbury, Farnham, Knutsford, Leeds, MediaCityUK, Manchester, Reading, Newcastle, Marlow, Sheffield, West Bridgford and York.
The craft gin combines traditional artisan methods and infuses modern botanicals using a blend of hand peeled fresh citrus, British roots and hand cracked juniper berries.
Created by two Manchester gin enthusiasts Mark Smallwood and Liam Manton, Didsbury Gin, has been hailed by Vogue Magazine as ‘one of the most exciting new British gins’, and is already stocked in Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
Kelly Harrison, creative development specialist at NWTC said “Since opening The Botanist in Didsbury last year, our northern bar experts have had Didsbury Gin increase on their radar (both quality and taste).
“We’ve listened to that feedback and are proud to announce that we’ll be adding Didsbury Gin to our new The Botanist drink menus from 17th July 2018.”
Liam Manton said: “The partnership with The Botanist is a really exciting one for us as it allows us to get Didsbury Gin in the hands of so many more gin lovers across the UK.
