Top speaker announced for Business Desk property lunch

One of the best-known figures in the North West property scene is to speak at a special lunch organised by the TheBusinessDesk.Com.

Tom Bloxham, the co-founder and chairman of Urban Splash, will be speaking at the event in September.

He will be talking about the roller-coaster ride he has been on for the last 25 years and his vision for the future of his company.

Urban Splash has stayed true to its founding principles and is pioneering larger scale communities at sites around the country, the team has also pushed convention by moving into modular housing, with two sites in Manchester alone.

Tom is one of the best-known businessmen in the North West thanks to his pioneering work with his property firm.

Urban Splash is known for taking on tough and challenging projects and creating stunning homes and landmark buildings.

Tom reflects the unique and creative nature of his business – which has never been afraid to take on a challenge and to try to do things differently.

He started out selling posters and T shirts at Manchester’s Afflecks Palace before moving into property.
This summer the firm celebrated its 25th anniversary in typical Mancunian style by throwing an old-school rave.

In his spare time Tom chairs the Manchester International Festival and is a trustee of The Tate, Manchester United Foundation.
