North-West based Roundhouse Properties has acquired a new site in Knowsley and has now submitted planning permission to build its fifth Momentum Business Centre.
The property company has purchased 1.6-acre site at Randles Road, Knowsley Business Park where it will look to build 39 units totalling 2,650 Sq M / 28,550 Sq Ft.
Currently Roundhouse Properties is finishing the second phase of its third Momentum Development at the popular South Rings site in Preston, where all the units are currently under offer.
Its sister sites in Buckshaw, Chorley and Bamber Bridge, Preston, totalling over 95,000sq ft, are all occupied and the property company will also be developing a Momentum Business Centre in Shadsworth, Blackburn.
Jeremy Lefton, managing director of Roundhouse Momentum Developments, said: “Knowsley was the natural next step for us as we continue to look for sites that are located close to residential developments, with good local amenities and served well by a good road infrastructure.
“Our market research has identified that there’s a strong SME community around Knowsley. Our aim is to provide our brand of quality, small, flexible and affordable business space, catering specifically for small to medium businesses.
“Now that we have submitted plans to the local authority, our aim is to start building in early 2019.
